Felt triathlon bikes 2021

The fastest triathlon bikes! Felt claims no less for its IA series aero machines. With the IA FRD, Daniela Ryf became Ironman Champion four times in a row and set a sensational new bike course record in 2018. The IA represents the culmination of Felt's 30 years of development in the field of aero/triathlon bikes. For the 2021 series there are even more improved aerodynamics, disc brakes and fresh designs.

The bikes of the IA series have the same advanced carbon frame platform, but then differ in terms of equipment and color variants depending on the model.

disc brakes. Felt has already designed all IA models with disc brakes only. For rim brake advocates, the IA Advanced 105 Rim remains an option.

aerodynamics . The integration of disc brakes requires a completely new frame concept, since statics and flow conditions are significantly influenced by this technical change. Prototypes were designed, tested in the wind tunnel, driven in real conditions, reworked and run through this loop countless times until the new IA showed absolute top values ​​under all test conditions. With disc brakes, even better aero performance is now achieved than with the previous models.

Storage. All bikes in the IA series have integrated storage solutions: The top tube box offers ample space for all the important things that a rider needs to access quickly and easily and is particularly suitable for provisions (bars / gels). The aerodynamically optimized BTSpac storage box is also located behind the seat tube. This storage space is ideal for a flat tire repair kit and/or a road tool kit or other items that a driver may not necessarily need while driving.

Colors. Felt offers almost every IA model in two color variants. Overall, the designs are colorful and fresh - the so-called "geo" look relies on textures and a new camouflage look.
