Nikolauslauf Munich

Munich, November 29, 2019 - On December 7, the time has come: The St. Nicholas Run marks the start of the Munich winter running series 2019/2020. The runners can test their form over the 10-kilometer distance. Around 1,500 participants are expected in the Olympic Park for the fourteenth event - both ambitious runners and recreational athletes - and of course many Santa Clauses, who are particularly welcome!

The race starts again this year on the Spiridon-Louis-Ring right next to the Olympic Stadium. Start time is 3pm. The starting documents are available in the Olympic Stadium (guest of honor area). There are also showers and changing rooms. The route leads past the former cycling stadium, the summer Tollwood site, Coubertinplatz, BMW World, Sealife and along the Olympiaberg back to the Olympic Stadium. All pre-registered participants will receive a souvenir gift, and refreshments will be provided at the finish with gingerbread and stollen. A bar with Erdinger Non-Alcoholic will also be offered again. There are prizes for the winners and age groups.

A children's and schoolchildren's run over 500 m or 1.6 km will be held for the little runners . And Santa Claus is coming!

Weather: According to the current weather forecast, no winter weather is in sight.

Online registration is still possible up to and including Monday, December 2 at www.laufwinter.de .
Late registration on 6.12. from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on 7.12. from 12 p.m. in the guest of honor area in the Olympic Stadium.

Next run in the series: 15 kilometers on January 6th. The final over 20 kilometers will take place on February 15. Series ranking by adding up the times of the 3 runs. The New Year's Run www.neujahrslauf-muenchen.de starts on January 1 , 2020 at 12 p.m. in the Hofgarten.
