Vorgestellt: Daniela Ryfs Felt IA2.0 im Custom Look für die Saison 2023

The goal for the Swiss triathlon star is clear: Daniela Ryf wants to regain the Ironman World Champion title in Kona, Hawaii in October. Now she presented the first milestone of her Hawaii project: the individually painted frame set of the brand new FELT IA 2.0. Her ongoing relationship with FELT goes well beyond the mere supply of equipment and reflects a true technical collaboration where Daniela has been deeply involved in the development of the new platform to ensure that when it is ready for the consumer it will be of one of the best athletes in the world.

Inspired by Daniela's Angry Bird nickname, her new IA 2.0 frame features a white, silver, and magenta base with an abstract feather motif throughout. However, with weight and aesthetics in mind, the IA 2.0's ultra-high modulus carbon is also exposed in sections to balance beauty and practicality. Ryf's logo adorns the inside of the heavily sculpted fork legs and, fitting for an athlete with her pedigree, her name is written under the clear coat on the top tube of her IA 2.0.

Speaking of the design, PIERER NEW MOBILITY Vice President Global Marketing Eric Sakalowsky said: “Daniela is an icon and we have worked with her to create a bike that truly embodies her personality and approach to the sport. Triathlon is a discipline that's not just numbers but psychology and I have no doubt that Daniela will get an extra spark this season by having a bike that's truly 'her'.”

As FELT's newest flagship triathlon platform, the IA 2.0 builds on the brand's triathlon success and offers improved aerodynamics, storage, adjustability and integration in a visually striking package with innovative molding and industrial design features. Aerodynamically optimized for real-world low to moderate yaw angles and featuring a highly adjustable front end design, the IA 2.0 retains the DNA of the class-leading FELT IA while offering improvements in almost every objective metric. Perhaps most striking is the top tube design, which allows for the clean integration of a hydration system while improving the aerodynamics of the frame.
