Berlin, June 12th, 2022 - one day, five races
On Sunday, June 12th, more than 1,000 athletes started in the best conditions over the middle distance, the Olympic distance, the sprint distance and the fitness triathlon. Also an integral part: the children's triathlon.

The swim course in the Spree led the participants around the island of youth. Then it was on the bike on a fully closed 6.3 km circuit through Treptow - depending on the distance, lap counting was the order of the day. The final run was a 5km loop around the Plänterwald.
At the edge of the track, Frank Horras really heated up the participants and spectators.

"We are very pleased that the triathlon community of local athletes, but also triathletes who have traveled a long way, is loyal to us. The feedback proved us right. With our many volunteers and some long-standing partners and sponsors, who make this event possible in the first place, to the sport to come together.", said Enrico Kalinka from the organization team.
The next Berlin Triathlon will take place on June 4, 2023.
