The indestructible ImpactX lenses, which darken from low to high light transmission in seconds and achieve a custom color from an initial clear state, improve contrast, improve visual acuity and depth perception. ImpactX® lenses are 16% lighter than CR-39 and 10% lighter than polycarbonate; they have lower internal stress and chromatic dispersion than polycarbonate, resulting in sharper images, higher resolution, less "rainbowing" and more visual comfort.

IN-MOULD CONSTRUCTION: In-mould technology allows the outer polycarbonate outer shell to be molded directly during the injection phase of the shock-absorbing foam with expandable polystyrene (EPS).
