Zwift has introduced a new video integration with Strava: Zwifters can now upload not only images of the activity, but also 15-second video clips to Strava.
Zwift is the first Strava partner to take advantage of the Video API since Strava introduced video capabilities to its community of over 100 million athletes worldwide in June 2022.
Here's how it works
To record a video, Zwifters click an icon in the action bar on their desktop interface or in the Zwift Companion app to record the last 15 seconds. Zwifters can also record multiple videos in one ride. Video is also automatically recorded when notable moments occur in Zwift play, such as: B. winning a segment jersey or meeting a weekly fitness goal.
The automatic Strava upload includes a video of between 5 - 15 seconds and up to five photos taken while Zwifting. After completing their ride, Zwifters can choose which video or images to upload to Strava when saving their activity.
The new feature is currently available on iOS and MacOS devices, soon to be followed by TVOS, Android and other devices.
